Main Street Vancouver Chiropractors
What is a Chiropractor?
Chiropractors are doctors of chiropractic, with a minimum of 4 years post-graduate studies. Our chiropractors provide more than just adjustments, and adjustments are not always warranted! Manual therapy during treatments can include soft tissue therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, cupping, therapeutic ultrasound, IFC, and mobilizations. Our chiropractor in Vancouver at Northwest Rehab Group help relieve pain, increase range of motion, as well as provide exercise rehabilitation to keep you staying strong and pain-free!
Chiropractic care improves joint and neuromuscular health by assessing, diagnosing, and manually treating the bones, muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints that you use in your everyday life. By receiving an adjustment, your muscles will relax and your ranges of motion will improve. However, active rehabilitation will be important in your pathway to decreasing your pain and stress. Therefore, at Northwest Rehab Group, we will personalize a plan for you in order for you to recover from your aches and pains.

Common questions about chiropractic treatment:
Do I have to be adjusted?
No, our chiropractors provide more than adjustments. If you are uncomfortable with adjustments, we can provide soft tissue therapy, mobilizations and active rehab to help get you back to a pain-free state.
What is the popping sound?
The "crack" or "pop" that is heard is the sound of the restricted joint releasing gas when the joint moves. This allows more movement in the joint, as well as provides relief of muscle tension and pain.
Will an adjustment fix everything?
The adjustment is only one small component to get you feeling better and back to feeling like your regular self! As the adjustment may only be a temporary fix for some people, it is very important to focus on the self-care outside the clinic by continuing your prescribed exercises to keep you in a longer period of pain relief.
Do chiropractors work on other areas other than the spine?
Yes, our chiropractors work on any joint, muscle and nerve related pain in the body! As neuromusculoskeletal experts, we are educated on more than just the spine!
When you are admitted to the program, you will receive a comprehensive assessment which will include an evaluation of your injuries and your risk of re-injury as well as a diagnosis of your specific chronic condition. This assessment is used by the chiropractor to develop a treatment plan that meets the needs of your specific injury and help you recover faster.
Testimonials from Our Vancouver Chiropractic Patients
"Thank you Dr. Minh and Dr. Camille for helping me rehabilitate my broken and injured body (shoulder and lower back). They are both extremely caring about their patients and instill a holistic approach to their treatments. They have truly exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Go and check them out!"
- James L
"Fantastic crew at Northwest Rehab Group. Professional, honest and caring staff. Went to see Dr. Nguyen who treated my headaches. He was timely with his appointment times. Never felt rushed at all during my treatments. Space is also beautifully designed. They do direct billing with your insurance companies so you don't have to submit on your own. Booking appointments are also very easy with their online system. Highly recommend the team here at Northwest Rehab."
- Emily T.
"I have been treated by both Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Delos Reyes and can attest to both their commitment to my long-term health goals. Working long hours at the desk and playing volleyball where I suffer from jumper's knees is something I intend to continue for a long time. They were able to pinpoint the issue on my back based on their high-tech equipment and use a rehabilitative approach in helping me heal. As a bonus, I even got some take-home exercises to work on the weaker areas of my body. Coming to their clinic for a regular treatment is now a lifestyle choice that is definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend them both."

What is Chiropractic Care?
Vancouver chiropractors work with the musculoskeletal system and its flexibility and ability to hold back pain and injury while helping muscles and connective tissues to restore their elasticity. Chiropractic care can help to realign spinal joints and to eliminate muscle spasms and dysfunction. Chiropractors also help reduce inflammation and its pain by using non-surgical methods and manual therapies.
Chiropractors are experts in treating headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, back pain and other body pains. In addition, they provide diagnostic care for the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system of the body. In order to treat a certain ailment, the chiropractor will check and evaluate your condition and its cause. Then he or she will recommend a treatment plan after studying your medical history, symptoms, severity and effects of the illness.
The chiropractors provide a holistic approach to health care, including biomechanical diagnosis, physical therapy, nutritional assessment, and therapeutic exercise programs for their patients. Thus, a chiropractor's approach to health care is comprehensive, targeting the entire body of patients instead of a specific area of treatment.
Chiropractors are considered masters of their own domain, so the term chiropractic care is widely used.
